Days 4 & 5 Strep Throat City

In an unfortunate turn of events Jess came down with a mean case of Strep Throat on Day 4. We ended up spending two days in the Dalles to give her time to recover. I was biting my nails the entire time as I filled her with Vitamin C and Echinacea hoping for a miracle. My worst fear was our grand adventure dissolving after only 3 days on the road. The thought terrified me after all the invested time and energy and support from others. Not to mention the small band of nay-sayers waiting for us back home.

Given our lack of activity we don’t have any beautiful scenic pictures or interesting stories to recount from these days. But just so this post doesn’t remain entirely bland I hope you will enjoy the adorable kitten and puppy pictured below.
