Day 40 Fuel Efficient
We said goodbye to our wonderful host Theresa tucked away the bison jerky she insisted we take and were on our way.
Jess, Theresa and myself
Cycling along the farm land made for a beautiful ride. These three flashy paint horses caught my eye
We stopped off for something cool to drink in the tiny town of Tabor. The town embraced its Czech heritage and advertised that their “Czech Days” which were close at hand.
Just fueling up
Jess and I were very excited to calculate our total mileage at the end of the trip and see how much $$$ we would have spent had we completed this trip in a full size vehicle.
We cycled to Lewis and Clark State Park in Yankton, South Dakota. The beautiful park was situated alongside the Missouri River and we were thrilled that Jess’ cousin Markie and uncle Kerry were joining us for the camping experience. Plus Kerry promised to cycle with us the following day into Sioux City.
